1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the Damascus app ("Damascus" or the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Damascus is a faith-based app for prayer tracking, daily reflections, and spiritual growth. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use Damascus.

2. Description of Damascus
Damascus is a mobile application that helps you build a consistent prayer life. It includes daily prayer tracking and streaks, scripture-based reflections, the Prayer Dare, teachings and worship content, highlights and notes, community features (friends, leaderboard), achievements, and optional push notifications (e.g., daily prayer reminders and streak reminders). Some content and features are available through a Damascus+ subscription. How we collect, use, and share personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Damascus at any time with or without notice.

3. Account and Registration
You may use certain features as a guest, but creating an account (e.g., with email, Sign in with Apple, or Google Sign-In) allows you to save your prayer streak, achievements, highlights, and preferences and to sync them across devices. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.

4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Damascus only for lawful purposes and in a way that respects our community. You may not use the Service to harass or harm others, post offensive or inappropriate content in any community or shared features, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts, or otherwise misuse Damascus. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Damascus+ Subscription and Payments
Damascus+ is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks the full Damascus video library and related premium features. The following subscription options are available:

• Individual monthly: $7.99 per month
• Individual yearly: $59.99 per year
• Family monthly: $14.99 per month (up to 6 family members)
• Family yearly: $119.99 per year (up to 6 family members)

Subscriptions purchased in the iOS app are billed through your Apple ID. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for the unused portion. Existing subscriptions purchased on the web are billed by our web checkout provider and managed through the Damascus+ billing portal at plus.damascus.net. Refund handling follows the applicable payment provider's terms and applicable law.

Family plan owners may invite up to 5 additional members after purchase. Each invited member must accept the invitation on their own device. Family entitlements may be revoked by the plan owner.

6. Intellectual Property
Damascus and its content—including but not limited to the app design, teachings, reflections, scripture presentations, and any logos or branding—are owned by Damascus (or its licensors) and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without permission. Your own highlights and notes remain yours; by using Damascus you grant us the license we need to store and sync them for you.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Damascus is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Spiritual content and recommendations are for encouragement and are not a substitute for professional pastoral or medical advice where appropriate.

8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Damascus and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new terms in the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use of Damascus after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

SMS Messaging Terms & Compliance

Damascus SMS Messaging - Facebook Lead Form and Appointment Booking Consent

Effective Date: June 5th, 2026

1. Program Description: This messaging program sends SMS messages to those who have opted-in via our Facebook lead form. They receive messages inviting them to book an appointment to hear more about summer camp. If they choose to book an appointment they receive appointment confirmation and reminder messages. This is only for customers who have booked an appointment with Damascus through our Facebook lead forms, and have explicitly opted in to receive SMS notifications. Opt-in is collected via our calendar booking form with a dedicated checkbox for SMS consent and our Facebook lead form by consenting through submitting the form, which is explicitly stated on the submit page for the lead form. Messages include comfirmation of lead form submission, interest in summer camp programs, scheduling confirmations, appointment reminders, rescheduling updates, and customer support communications.

2. Cancellation Instructions: You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text "STOP" to the same number that sent you messages. Upon sending "STOP," we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. Following this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.

3. Support Information: If you experience issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword "HELP" for more assistance, or reach out directly to registration@damascus.net or call 740-480-1288 during business hours.

4. Carrier Liability: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Message & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies based on your service usage and appointment schedule. For questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

6. Supported Carriers: Our SMS program works with all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and most regional carriers.

8. Age Restriction -Users must be 18 years or older to participate in SMS messaging.

We comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and CTIA guidelines, regarding the use of SMS communications.

General Terms

This website (the "Site") is owned and operated by Damascus ("COMPANY," "we" or "us"). By using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and to use the Site in accordance with these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms and conditions that may apply to specific sections of the Site or to products and services available through the Site or from Damascus.

Accessing the Site, in any manner, whether automated or otherwise, constitutes use of the Site and your agreement to be bound by these Terms of Service.

We reserve the right to change these Terms of Service or to impose new conditions on the use of the Site from time to time, in which case we will post the revised Terms of Service on this website. However, you may download and/or print one copy of individual pages for your personal, non-commercial use, provided that you keep intact all copyright and other proprietary notices.

Your License to Us

By posting or submitting any material (including comments, blog entries, social media posts, photos, and videos) to us via the Site, internet groups, or other digital venues, you represent that you own the material or have obtained the necessary permissions. Registration & Passwords

To access certain features of the Site, you may be required to register and create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities conducted under your account.

Termination
